Caring for Our Facilities

Over the past decade, the Reardan-Edwall School District has taken a thoughtful and proactive approach to caring for its school facilities. While rural school districts often operate with limited capital funding, the district has worked diligently to protect and improve the buildings and spaces that support teaching, learning, and activities.

Through careful planning and strong stewardship of public resources, the district has successfully secured millions of dollars in competitive grant funding to address critical facility needs. These funds, combined with the limited maintenance resources the State provides schools, have allowed the district to complete a wide range of targeted improvements that help preserve our buildings and enhance the learning environment for students.

In addition to grant funding, the district has worked closely with local partners, community organizations, and generous donors to maximize every available dollar. These partnerships have helped stretch resources even further and ensure that important facility upgrades could move forward without placing additional burden on local taxpayers.

The following list highlights many of the projects completed in recent years that demonstrate the district’s continued commitment to maintaining safe, functional, and welcoming school facilities for students, staff, and the community.
